Clearwater Beach - Registration is now open for the 12th Annual Make A Difference Fishing Tournament for Special Kids. The tournament will be held at Pier 60 Clearwater Beach on Saturday, October 6, 2007. All kids must be registered to participate.

The tournament is opened to all handicapped kids ages 18 years and under. To register just click registration form to download the form, fill it out and mail it to Make A Difference P.O. Box 16535, Clearwater, FL 33766. If you have any questions click on Contact or call us at (727) 449-9820. Check in begins at 7:30am. The Tournament will begins at 8:00am. All registered "special anglers" will receive a new fishing pole, goody bag filled with stuff, their official 2007 Make A Difference T-shirt plus more surprises. Free hot dogs, hamburgers and ice cold refreshments will be available during the tournament. The fishing will stop at 10:30am and all contestants can particapte under the shelter pavilion for awards and prizes.

The Adult tournament for “special anglers” over 18 years old will be held Saturday, November 3th, also at Pier 60, Clearwater Beach.

Volunteers are needed to Make A Difference on fishing day. Our next fishing meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 14th, 2006 starting 6:30pm on Thursday, October 4th.

Volunteer t-shirts will be given out to all volunteers also volunteer responsibilities will be assigned at the meetings held on September 28th & October 5th. Every volunteer must have his or her T-shirt and responsibilities assignment prior to the morning of the Tournament.
