In Loving Memory of Michael Schaffer

It is with a heavy heart we announce the recent passing of Michael Schaffer, 23. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Michael has been fishing in our tournaments for over 16 years and will be sadly be missed. The family asked in lieu of sending flowers, donations be made to Make A Difference Fishing Tournament.

We came to our first Make a Difference Fishing Tournament in October 2008; and have come to every event you have had since then. We were at our eighth event today in the Largo Nature Preserve and had another delightful day for our family. THANK YOU so much for all that you do for all of the children with special needs. Fishing is the only ‘sport’ that Jeremy has enjoyed doing over and over.
